The end of the week already??
The weekend is quickly approaching - yay! Basically, just about every hour of my weekend is accounted for. I'm working some overtime on Saturday - much needed overtime! I'm going to a friend's house for a get together with the girls on Saturday evening (we do it once a month). I'm bringing the sodas. I always get to bring the easy stuff since I don't cook. Friday night I have someplace to be at 8 p.m. and then we usually go out to eat afterwards. So, basically that just leaves me with Sunday. I'll probably do an Office, Days of Our Lives, Desperate Housewives and What Not To Wear marathon. Exciting huh??
Maybe just maybe I'll get some poker time in. Most likely I'll just play online instead or heading to the casino. I'm TRYING to stay out of the casinos for the time being. It's hard! There are slot machines EVERYWHERE. Grocery stores, gas stations, CVS, airport - you name it! Vegas is so funny. This morning on my way to work I saw a guy walking across the street at 7:30 a.m. drinking a beer. I don't know if he was going to work or just getting off work, but he had a construction hat on. Only in Vegas!

What nice Las Vegas weather. I've always thought that the perfect job for my retirement would be to drive a shuttle van in Las Vegas. Am I demented or what??

Just a word of warning about your post yesterday.
If you have a TIVO that is not plugged into a phone line the time will not correct itself and your programs will record incorrectly most likely missing them entirely.

Whenever we would have potluck dinners at work they would always assign me to get the sodas. They just assumed that a bachelor couldn't cook anything. Which isn't true. I'm a hell of a cook. But, I didn't say anything cause then they would have higher expectations. hahaha
First time I went to Vegas we got off the plane and all these people were sitting at the slot machines in the airport. All looked pretty desperate. It was their last chance to get CLOSE to even before leaving.
The greatest thing about Vegas was the free drinks even if I was only playing the nickel slots or at the dollar blackjack table.

I'd of been bummed about your weather forcast if I had read it a couple of days ago but today it was almost 50 here in Michigan!!
